Kathi Schürf
In addition to ballet at the age of 3, I also enjoyed vaulting from the age of 6 to 18, and after completing my trainer training, I was able to coach young riders for many years. During this time, I taught children aged 6-14 on the ground, on the wooden horse, and on real horses, and experienced how acrobatic movements strengthen posture, coordination, and self-confidence.
Inspired by my own journey between classical ballet and many years of vaulting, I have created a space where children can playfully discover strength, balance, and confidence. It is precisely this body awareness that I now want to bring to Hairu with Acro Yoga for Kids.
Meine Klassen im HAIRU
Acro Yoga Kids 4-6 years | Acro Yoga Kids 6-9 years

Acro Yoga Kids 4-6 years
Tues 3:45pm – 4:30pm
Acrobatic yoga for children (with parents): here, children can discover strength, balance, and trust in a playful way. Combined with elements from dance, yoga, and acrobatics. This helps us nurture:
• a stable core and strong postural muscles for a healthy, upright posture
• balance and equilibrium
• flexibility
• trust, team spirit, and clear communication
The classes are structured so that every child feels safe, seen, and encouraged: We start with creative warm-up games, slowly build strength and body tension, and then explore simple acro-yoga elements on the ground—in small steps and with plenty of room for imagination. The result is a practice that focuses on the natural joy of movement, exploring one’s own body, and the ability to feel “I can do this!”
If you want your child to experience a class that combines the lightness of dance with clear body awareness while also strengthening courage, concentration, and cooperation, Acro Yoga Kids is a wonderful addition to creative children’s dance. I look forward to laughing, exercising, and—in the truest sense of the word—turning new perspectives upside down with your children!
