Deep Core Intensive – Psoas, abdomen, pelvic floor

Yoga assumes that we possess a wonderful core essence that is unaffected by external influences. An intact self, so to speak. An inherent potential that wants to be awakened and lived in our earthly existence. On a physiological level, the core muscles, the deep psoas muscle, and the pelvic floor represent our center. With them, we stabilize ourselves from the center and radiate strength from there.
This workshop begins with a Feldenkrais®-inspired session on deep awareness of the abdominal and pelvic areas and thus the psoas and pelvic floor. The subsequent fascial movement practice activates all body structures around the center from lying down to standing and walking. Then experience a blissful sitting meditation and Savasana.
A liberated lumbar muscle that functions juicily and smoothly, and a lively pelvic floor affect all levels of being—spiritual, emotional, and physical.
