Spinal Synergy + Joint Synergy
Saturday 04.07.26, 4:00-6:00 pm with Heidi Ittner
Did you know that we’re “actually” capable of moving our spine in a wide variety of ways and with great precision? And what positive effects this has — not just for our back, but for our entire body in all its facets? And above all: how incredibly good it feels?
Instead, in our daily lives, we spend most of our time sitting as if glued to our seats, staring at screens for hours on end, and perhaps practicing forward and backward bends in yoga. But that’s only a very small part of our natural range of motion.
In this workshop, we’ll therefore experiment with various natural and harmoniously flowing movements of our joint complexes—and especially our spine. This form of movement can energise you, strengthen you, and make you more flexible without stressing you out or exhausting you. – Yes, it’s possible!
We’ll dive into the popular Spinal Waves and, above all, into “Spinal Synergy” and “Joint Synergy” from Simon Borg-Olivier’s 5-Dimensional Synergy Flow—a sophisticated system that combines the core elements of yoga, qigong, dance, martial arts, and functional anatomy in an ingenious and accessible way.
So whether you’ve never done yoga before or have been rolling out your mat for years:
Would you like to try something different? And get lots of ideas on how to make your movement practice—and your everyday life!—more beneficial, effective, and sustainable? Then book your spot now!
Costs: 350€ (USC/ Wellpass +25€)
about Heidi
Heidi has been teaching Ashtanga Mysore at Hairu since the very beginning. The much more personal teaching style known as “Mysore style,” which is unique to Ashtanga Yoga, has long been close to her heart. It allows her to bring together and incorporate all of her experiences: her own 20+ years of (Ashtanga) yoga practice and training, her bodywork (Osteothai and Craniosacral) and her psychological training.
And yet, learning never stops: that’s why she loves to constantly explore the wide world of health, movement, and yoga with fascination and curiosity—which is also reflected in her teaching. A very fundamental influence now comes from Simon Borg-Olivier and his 5-Dimensional Synergy Flow System.
