Through her interest in philosophical and spiritual topics, Waltraud came to yoga in 1990. In 2004, her path led her to Ana Costa in Encinitas, California, who teaches the Anahatha yoga style. She completed her yoga training with 800 hours. Since then, Waltraud spent several weeks a year in California to dive deeper into meditation, mantra chanting, asana practice and yoga philosophy. In addition, she has taken further training in Yin Yoga.
Waltraud’s classes are characterised by gentleness, clarity and empathy. In addition, the knowledge of Qi Gong, mantra chanting, energy work, meditation flows into her lessons.
“What helps and heals people” – this question she has asked herself again and again. Spurred on by her own life story, experience and observation in the yoga classes, among other things, the “relaxation journey” has emerged over all these years.
